This summer I will teach a LARGE SCALE CERAMICS class at Oregon College of Arts and Crafts.  We will do wheel and hand building techniques and explore different surfaces possibilites in low and high fire.  The class size will be small so sign up soon!  The class is 10 weeks and goes through August.

April 29 - May 1  OREGON CERAMIC SHOWCASE, is hosted by the OREGON POTTER'S ASSOCIATION  at the Portland Convention Center.  I plan to have a booth for the first time this year. 

ART OF THE CUP: FUNCTIONAL COMFORT  at the Ogeden Museum of Southern Art, Center for Southern Craft and Design,  will exhibit cups from over 40 artists,  myself included.  The museum is in New Orleans and the show is up from October 28th - January 2nd.  You cn see thee blog at

PEWABIC POTTERY in Detroit, Michigan is hosting EARTHLY TREASURES.  I have work there for the Holiday season!

I'm sending work to Helena Montana's Holter Museum for their annual Holiday sale.  The opening reception for artists and members is Thursday, November 11th and the show remains open to the public thorught December.

I am participating in the 2010 AMERICAN POTTERY FESTIVAL  at the Northern Clay Center in Minneapolis, Minnessotta.    Work will be available for an exhibit up the center until the end of December.  You can find details of the show at http://www.northernclaycenter.org/see/AmPotteryFest.php

I'm planning the first annual LOVE STREET HOLIDAY POTTERY SALE. It will be Saturday, November 27th, 10am -4 pm, held here at 4212 SE Liebe Street in Portland.  There will be lots of plates, platters, trays, jars, cups and more. 

On Monday, November first, I plan to be a  VISITING ARTIST AT GEORGE FOX UNIVERSITY , in Newburg Oregon.  I'll be doing a lecture,  demonstrating forming and decoration,  and talking about being a Quaker in the 21st century!

I'll be  firing the soda kiln that I built at Mount Hood Community College on Friday and Saturday the first weekend in October.  Here's to good weather and an auspicious firing.

I'm looking forward to being back in Louisville for the annual SUMMER SALE, in beautiful Crescent Hill.  This is a place for bargains and deals and some new work as well. 

OPA, Oregon Potter's Association holds CERAMICS SHOWCASE this weekend, Friday through Sunday at the Portland Convention Center.  I will have work in the "gallery" and in the garden area.  This is a good opportunity to see lots of local Portland Ceramics.
